The Z-LASIK experience combines two technological advances that offer patients the possibility of achieving better than 20/20 vision.  The procedure is performed with the Ziemer FEMTO LDV Femotosecond Surgical Laser in conjunction with an advanced excimer laser system. According to Ziemer, Z-LASIK is technologically the most advanced procedure, using the combination of a state-of-the-art excimer laser system and advanced diagnostic equipment.

The Procedure

Z-LASIK is an outpatient surgical procedure that reshapes the cornea using a low-impact laser.  No blade is involved in this treatment. Patients feel more comfortable, and the results are even better. Many patients noticed improved vision immediately following the procedure.*
