Melissa “Missy” M. Stanford, DNP, CNP
Melissa “Missy” M. Stanford, DNP, CNP, is a certified nurse practitioner at Hattiesburg Clinic Critical Care Medicine. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Ala., where she also received her Doctor of Nursing Practice.
Ms. Stanford is board certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of the American Nurses Association.
At Critical Care Medicine, Ms. Stanford treats patients who are in need of life support or other intensive medical care while at Forrest General Hospital. Her ultimate goal is to help provide the necessary care to get the patient to his or her next step in recovery.
