Akeem A. Adebayo, MD, MBA, MPH, MSCI, is a physician at Hattiesburg Clinic Pain Management Health Center.
Adebayo received his medical degree from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos in Idi-Araba, Lagos, Nigeria. He completed an internship in internal medicine at the Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, Ga., and his residency in general preventative medicine & public health at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Miss. Adebayo completed a fellowship in addiction medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans.
Adebayo is board certified in procedural medicine by the American Academy of Procedural Medicine, and he is board eligible in preventative medicine and addiction medicine by the American Board of Preventative Medicine. He is a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine and the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry. His special practice interests include chronic pain management, preventative health care and behavioral health.
