Diabetes Support Group: Dining Out with Diabetes
Do you or someone you know have diabetes? Could you benefit from learning more about your condition?
Get support from a community of individuals who share in your concerns by joining Hattiesburg Clinic’s Diabetes Support Group.
This free service is available to individuals with diabetes, along with their family and friends. In addition to meeting others living and coping with diabetes, the monthly group meeting allows attendees to hear from a team of health care professionals about ways to manage and improve their condition.
At the next meeting, Registered Dietitian Janet Hudson, RD, LD, will talk about what people with diabetes should be aware of when you dine out this holiday season. The meeting is Tuesday, Dec. 4, 10 a.m.-11 a.m., at Cloverleaf Medical Plaza.
