Kiersten Farrar, AGACNP, recently joined Hattiesburg Clinic Critical Care Medicine.
She provides care to patients who are in need of life support or other intensive medical care; her goal is to be a caring, empathetic provider. Farrar has a special practice interest in critical care.
Farrar received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Miss., and received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama School of Nursing in Mobile, Ala.
Farrar is board certified in adult-gerontological acute care by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is a member of the Mississippi Nursing Association and American Nurses Association.
“Caring for others has always been in my nature, so health care was not a difficult decision when it came to a career choice. I enjoy educating patients and families about their medical conditions, so they are able to make informed choices about their medical treatment,” Farrar said.
