AN UPDATE FROM HATTIESBURG CLINIC EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, TOMMY THORNTON, FACMPE

As our community, patients, employees and physicians have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, we want to continually update you regarding important health care services available during this time.

All departments and Owl Drug Store remain open.  Please contact your provider’s office should you have any questions about your care.  If you have questions about your prescription(s) at Owl Drug Store, our staff and pharmacists are also available to assist you.

Hattiesburg Clinic’s telemedicine services are available for you to receive care while staying in the comfort of your home. All you need is an active Iris account and a smartphone, tablet, or computer.  Please note that by using Iris, we can ensure your health information is maintained in your medical record.  Other video services are not endorsed by Hattiesburg Clinic, PA.

If you have questions regarding how to set up an Iris account, download the Iris app (also called “MyChart”), or how to set up a telemedicine visit, please visit www.hattiesburgclinic.com/iris. We have provided step-by-step guides to ensure our patients can access their health care during such an important time.  If you still have questions, please call your provider’s office.  Our knowledgeable staff can assist you.

Effective April 9, 2020, Hattiesburg Clinic began offering a drive-thru lab service for established Hattiesburg Clinic patients. The purpose of the drive-thru service is to provide patients with a way to get lab work done while remaining in their vehicle as we continue to combat the spread of COVID-19. The drive-thru site, which is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 2:00 pm, is located in the parking lot of the Hypertension Center, #7 Medical Blvd., across the street from Internal Medicine. Upon arrival at the drive-thru site, patients should call (601) 296-2950 to let a Hattiesburg Clinic representative know they have arrived for lab work. This is not a COVID-19 testing site.

The Cough & Fever Clinic, located at 5909 Hwy. 49, in Hattiesburg, offers curbside testing for COVID-19 Monday through Saturday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, and Sunday, 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Patients must schedule an appointment online at www.curbsidecovid.com. (For patients with an Iris account, you will have the option to schedule these appointments through Iris once you begin the process through www.curbsidecovid.com.  Iris is the preferred method of scheduling appointments.) Click here for more information and guidelines for curbside testing.

Thank you for trusting Hattiesburg Clinic with your care.
